Punk For Peace is a socially and environmentally responsible choice for music fans. Every decision made considers people and the planet as more important than profit. Punk rock is definitely the focus, but there is plenty of metal, hardcore, emo, ska, indie rock and lots more available as well. Every purchase helps support great bands and great charities at the same time!
At least 10% of the total profit will be used to support the non-profit organizations.Punk For Peace is committed to the environment:

At Punk For Peace I try to do what is best for the environment in everything I do. First of all, I reuse everything I possibly can. All packaging materials, when available will be reused to ship your order. If I can't reuse it, I recycle it.
The packing materials I buy are the best options I have found so far. They are all 100% recyclable and I hope that you will recycle them. They include:
4" x 9.5" envelopes (100% recycled, 100% post consumer waste)
9" x 12" envelopes (100% recycled, 40% post consumer waste)
If you know of somewhere I can get envelopes with higher recycled percentages at a decent price, please let me know.
I buy 100% renewable electricity from the Energy Cooperative of New York, a member owned, not for profit cooperative. All lights are energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs, and I try to keep everything off when not in use.
As of July 2011: All trips to the post office will be made via bicycle or public transportation.
Please let me know if you have any ideas on how Punk For Peace can be more environmentally conscience.
To keep up with my daily activities and find out how you can get involved in making positive change:
